There is an additional permit for interior work that is confirmed has been submitted, but we are awaiting its approval status. Work has been paused while waiting for permitting, but most of the interior and exterior work has already been done. The design is complete, and it's expected that the project will be finished by the end of August. The only factor causing delays right now is obtaining approval from the city. Regarding permitting: City systems can be slow to reflect the latest data. This city in particular seems to be very delayed in documenting and approving building permits. 5/30/23 Status Update: The launch date for The Koi has been delayed from July to August 2023. The reason for the delay is that our project manager encountered construction issues on-site, which required us to halt the work and apply for City Permits for the home's rehabilitation. We anticipate receiving the permits within the next week to two weeks, after which we can resume work at the property.
